Air polishing is a fabulous way to effortlessly clean away stubborn superficial staining of the teeth caused by tea and coffee, red wine, smoking or certain foods. It’s a simple procedure that can be carried out during your hygienist visit.
What’s involved?
The procedure uses a targeted jet of compressed air mixed with water and powder. It is a pain-free technique that’s proven to be very effective at removing stains from the surface of teeth. It works particularly well on discolouration between gaps which are difficult to reach with normal brushing.

How long will it last?
Depending on your diet and other lifestyle factors, the effects of air polishing can last up to 12 months.
How much does it cost?
Air polishing is carried out during your visit to the hygienist and costs £30.00 in addition to your usual hygienist fees.
