Denplan and the Care Quality Commission
It’s been a very busy winter at Coppice View. Over the past few months we’ve been working hard towards two very significant quality assurance assessments, firstly from Denplan and then from the Care Quality Commission.
In December we had a full-day inspection from Denplan to gain Excel Accreditation – acknowledgment that we are working towards the very highest standards in dental practice. It involved a comprehensive assessment of both our clinical standards and our compliance with all guidance and regulation. This was our first visit from the Excel team and they were very impressed with the levels of service we are already achieving, outperforming long-established Excel-accredited practices.
January saw a scheduled visit from the CQC inspectors, again looking at our quality of care across all aspects of dentistry. The CQC periodically inspect all health and social care settings and our visit went well. The inspectors were impressed with both our clinical standards and also the care we take to ensure we provide the best levels of service in a safe and caring environment. It serves as further assurance that at Coppice View we are working really hard to ensure you receive the very highest standards in care. We are blessed with an exceptional team and it was fantastic to receive formal recognition for the high levels of performance from our clinical and administrative staff.
