Brides and grooms have a huge amount to think about when they’re planning their big day, but one item that should definitely be on the list is your smile!
There’s lots you can do to ensure that your photos (before and after!) show you with the best smile you can have. Let’s think about what’s possible within your wedding planning time frame.

If you’re thinking that you’d like your teeth to be whiter, perhaps because of staining, discolouration, or maybe you’d just like a brighter smile, then teeth whitening may well be for you. And of course, we recommend a dental check up to make sure that your gums and teeth are healthy and to pick up on anything that needs addressing.

If you’re concerned about teeth that might be chipped, discoloured or slightly misaligned, an option is porcelain veneers that are customised for you. These veneers are casings that are bonded to the front of the tooth, hiding any imperfections and providing a perfect colour match to your other teeth. A single visit is all it takes!

How about booking in for an appointment with your hygienist to give your teeth a professional clean? They’ll scale your teeth to remove any plaque or tartar build-up in those areas that brushing cannot reach and then perform a clean and polish to remove any superficial stains on your teeth. In addition, they can offer tailored advice on how to maintain good dental health and demonstrate techniques you can use at home.
Another suggestion is air polishing. It’s a simple, pain-free procedure that removes, or in the case of very stubborn stains, significantly reduces, visible staining – ideal for tea, coffee, red wine discoloration as well as for smoking stains. The results are fantastic!
As ever, if you have any questions please get in touch, we’d love to help you get the best smile you can for your big day.
Mike
